How does RapidGuard provide its solutions?

RapidGuard is used to working with large companies and can work in a variety of ways that make logistical, organisational and commercial sense to each customer. As each solution is tailored to the specific customer we are happy to discuss options on a case by case basis. For example if your company wishes to be first to market with a pioneering solution for an agreed period then we are happy to discuss JV’s to accommodate this.

What is the process for the customer?

Phase 1___________NDA
The signing of a confidentiality agreement between the parties. Discussions regarding specific requirements/problems and potential RapidGuard solutions

Phase 2___________MOU
The signing of an MOU outlining the agreed working relationship between the parties during POC and at the outcome of a successful RapidGuard solution. Agreement of funding into POC phase.

Phase 3___________Proof of concept

The POC phase is usually split into 2 stages as follows:

Stage 1:

  • Initial environmental study of problem – laboratory examinations
  • Scientific assessment of potential RapidGuard solutions
  • Submission of scientific reports for the above
  • Protocols for laboratory testing

Stage 2:

  • Laboratory testing to engineer the RapidGuard solution
  • Samples manufactured in specific customer materials in varying combinations and doses
  • Samples analysed and tested to confirm activity and effectiveness
  • Best solution in terms of effectiveness and cost established
  • RapidGuard solution samples sent to independent lab to be verified with agreed protocols
  • Final scientific reports created and sent to customer with samples
Phase 4___________LOA
Using the principles of the MOU the 2 parties sign an LOA clarifying the working and commercial relationship between the companies.

Phase 5___________Delivering the solution
RapidGuard can provide solutions to suit the customer in the most effective and economic way. RapidGuard Smart Solutions can be provided in chemical mix form, MasterBatch polymer or even as a final product solution if required. RapidGuard forms relationships with chemical companies, high quality MasterBatch companies and factories, to provide, where possible a localised direct supply solution. This is designed to meet the supply and cost demands of each customer in its own country and region.

Phase 6___________Scientific Quality Assurance

Production line: RapidGuard monitors the quality of its solutions off the production line to ensure that the correct dosing of all additives is maintained

Field analysis: RapidGuard scientifically monitors the effectiveness of its solutions in the field over time to ensure that activity of ions continue to be effective

What does it cost?

Phase 3: Proof of Concept

In most cases the proof of concept phase is split into 2 sections, both are costed separately. We normally require 50% of the cost of POC which is non refundable as defined in the MOU.

Phase 4/5: LOA and delivering the solution

Normally this will work on a licensing agreement and is specific to the project in question, the working agreement and requirements between the companies
